Compact and productive, the VTM BC700S brush chipper consists of a 25-hp (18.6-kW)
Kohler ECH740 engine, bottom feed stop bar, centrifugal clutch, wide axle and Vermeer-exclusive SmartFeed feed-sensing control system.

Performs well during cold weather, minimizes occurrence of engine flooding and provides improved fuel economy over comparable carbureted gas engines. Diesel engine option also available.
Large infeed opening of 6-in tall x 8-in wide (15.2 cm x 20.3 cm)
Makes feeding of irregular material efficient and minimizes the amount of saw cuts needed prior to feeding the chipper.
